Apple Cinnamon Crumble

Ingredients

For the apples:

900g apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

½ cup / 100g regular sugar, Resugar Original, or Resugar Zero

2 tbsp / 15g cornstarch

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp lemon juice

For the crumble:

1¼ cups / 100g rolled oats

¾ cup / 100g all-purpose flour

¼ cup / 50g regular sugar, Resugar Original, or Resugar Zero

½ cup / 100g cold unsalted butter, cubed

1 tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 350°F / 180°C.

  2. Toss the apples with your choice of sweetener, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread evenly in a baking dish.

  3. Combine oats, flour, sweetener, cinnamon, and salt. Rub in the cold butter until the mixture forms coarse crumbs.

  4. Scatter the crumble over the apples and bake for 35–45 minutes, until golden and bubbling around the edges.
